# Tokenomics

Checkpoint proposes to use two tokens. The Governance token will control and offer voting (LOAD) as well as unique rewards, while the Utility token (referred to as CHPT - name to be confirmed and timeframe to be released later) will be used in the Checkpoint world to purchase NFTs, digital merchandise and other digital assets as well as access to certain in-multiverse events.
