# Checkpoint Learning and Education

Checkpoint Learning is an innovative approach to education, uniquely leveraging the cultural and experiential value of videogames to create engaging, inclusive and effective learning environments. Built on robust academic foundations and validated through our strategic partnership with Brunel University London, Checkpoint Learning empowers teachers and students by authentically integrating the skills, experiences and cultural insights gained from gaming into formal education.

Checkpoint Learning’s educational resources include carefully crafted lesson packs, tailored for both [classroom](/checkpoint-orange-paper/checkpoint-properties-and-methodolgy/teacher-lesson-packs.md) and [home learning](/checkpoint-orange-paper/checkpoint-properties-and-methodolgy/future-vision/home-learning-packs.md), which are mapped to curriculum objectives while fostering creativity and critical thinking enhancing student engagement. By bridging the gap between students' everyday experiences and formal education, Checkpoint equips learners for both current academic success and the challenges of the future.
